Cannot connect to Carrier Software

Overview

Usually connection issues between OzLINK and your carrier software can be fixed by restarting the software.  Make sure OzLINK finishes starting before you start your carrier software.

If restarting doesn't work and you are using Windows XP:
Occasionally a process in Windows XP prevents OzLINK from working correctly.  This process is called:
 
  • Ctfmon.exe
 
Ending this process in the Windows Task Manager will often fix communication problems between OzLINK and your carrier software.  Please ask your IT department to do this for you if necessary.
