Overview

Address Validation allows you to check the accuracy of an address.  Checking and correcting your shipping addresses before you ship can stop costly mistakes and save lots of time.  OzLINK for UPS checks an address by sending the information to UPS to make sure it is valid.  If it isn't, UPS sends back a suggested address that seems close to the one you entered.  The free edition of OzLINK can validate only the city, state, and zip code.  All other editions of OzLINK can verify the entire address.

 

To validate an address, first click on the Address Validation tab in OzLINK.  Enter the address details, then click the Validate button.  UPS will always send an address back.  Check the displayed address to see if it matches the one you entered, or if UPS has provided a changed address to correct any mistakes.
